I’m searching to find my life’s purpose. Where do I begin?

What is purpose? For most people, purpose is what they think they would like to do, or become. People will say, “I’m going to be a doctor, I am going to be a politician, a movie star, a teacher," etc. This list in endless, and it is a calling or vocation.

To start to discover your purpose, you must understand the difference between a calling and a yearning.

A calling is manifested by the mind and is like an urge to achieve. This form of “purpose” can change. Yearning is of the soul, and it produces a feeling like a hunger that does not leave until you have found your real purpose.

Real purpose is not about what you think you could do, it is about what you feel your being must attain. Being has nothing to do with doing, however they can become the same. An example is “I yearn to be a healer, I choose to be a doctor”. In other words purpose is when your mind and your being (often felt as intuition) are in agreement with each other. When this happens and the hunger stops, you are living your purpose.

For me, it was to discover real truth, and I live my purpose every second of every day. The journey of knowing your purpose is a worthy quest, and I can help you.
